More on Liverpool head coach!

Wigan yesterday announced that they have given permission to Liverpool to approach Martinez, while reports are also saying that Capello, Brendan Rogers and Andre Villas-Boas are also being considered; while the top wishlist is Guardiola, though it is very unlikely. Liverpool are wasting no time to find a suitable replacement of Dalglish as search started less than 24 hours after news of Kenny's sacking was made.

Unlike Wigan, Swansea did not gave permission to Liverpool to talk with their coach, although they are expected to do so after a good sum of money will be offered. The owners of Liverpool refused to comment on who is going to be Kenny's replacement as they don't want ta make a shortlist yet. As was revealed yesterday, they can offer Jurgen Klopp a contract, although it will be very difficult to lure Klopp to Liverpool. From France reports that Deschamp is considered are also emerging.

The permission of wigan was also made public by the president as he said that he promised Martinez that when a good club comes for him, he will let him leave, and that's why he gave Liverpool permission to hold talks. The only problem of Martinez is that he has not won anything yet, and never even came close to winning! But Liverpool are playing with no passion, and Martinez is a manager that can insert passion in players, especially when one sees what Wigan have done this year in the Premier League.

The appointment of Kenny's replacement is a very important choice, some are even saying that it's one of the most critical of Liverpool in recent times, as can be confirmed by Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre. Transfers to Liverpool are inevitable as some transfers made these couple of years did not leave the fruit that were hoping to leave, and this has to be done without Liverpool playing in the Champions League, which makes transfers of key players very difficult.
