Various websites and even fans always compare these fans with statistics coming out every week. I am one of those who don't agree with such comparisons, and this is because each player is different from each other. Messi and Ronaldo are 2 of the best players the world has ever seen, and this can be seen in the goals they score, the way they play and the way they are priced by the fans and their clubs! Both this year broke records: Messi scored an incredibly 72 goals (and can add goals in the Copa del Re final) breaking the record set by Gerd Muller 67 goals in 1 season; while Ronaldo helped Real Madrid to become the first club in La Liga to reach 100 points (an incredible average 2.6 points per game).
Asian Champions League
Today when I woke up the headlines were the matches of the Asian Champions League. Personally I never saw a game, except some parts/highlights when they are shown in the Eurosports. But one can't but say that Asian football is improving a lot, as players are starting playing in Europe and more money is being invested in these clubs. Who knows maybe one day, we will see an Asian team becoming World Champion for the first time!
