Michael Owen: "Retirement? Not now!"

Manchester United issued a statement saying that they decided to release Michael Owen. Rumors started circulating that Owen is planning for retirement, but his intentions are clear. He said that although he's 32, looking at Giggs and Scholes give him the motivation to continue playing as compared to them he's still young. He admits though that he had a few injuries, which gives the impression that he is older when playing. He's planning to play 2-3 more years before considering retirement, and he's hopeful to play more than he had in recent times.
