Heynckes: "Chelsea must keep Di Matteo"

Bayern Munich manager spoke about Di Matteo stating they should stick with him. Heynckes won the Champions League already with Real Madrid in 1998. Contradicting to what he said, when he won the CL with Real Madrid, he left a couple of days after.



Di Matteo is not empty-handed this year either as he guided Chelsea to an FA Cup victory over Liverpool. He has nothing to lose either as Abramovich stated that he would like a more prestigious coach, so by winning the CL, Di Matteo can show that he deserves to be a manager of a big club.

Heynckes has a lot of experience, unlike Di Matteo which can prove to be a bit advantageous together with playing at home. speaking about Chelsea, Heynckes said that Chelsea are a great club, and that's why Abramovich is searching for a prestigious coach, in order to give Chelsea the best options.
